Pre-Enrolment information
- Student details submitted to Phoenix Financial Training will be shared with ACCA for the use of Result Service. Result service is the mechanism of gathering student data to allow for the analysis of pass rates.
- Visa Applications:
Phoenix can provide a 1-year renewable student visa, for students who study their course with us face-to-face over a period of 12 months. Terms and conditions apply. Please contact www.phoenixft.com for more information. If a visa is refused it is the student's full responsibility to comply with visa requirements. Students who opt for Online courses only are not eligible for a student visa. Alternatively, we can provide a student letter for sponsorship under a family member.
Course Registration and Fees
- PhoenixFT Package Discount applies only when full package fees are paid on or before the 1st day of tuition.
- Fees can be paid by cash, credit card or e-Payment. Alternatively, a direct bank transfer can be made. Please email dubai@phoenixft.com for details of how to complete an e-Payment or bank transfer.
- Where an employer's authorisation is received for the company to be invoiced for course fees, the full fees are payable on the first day of the course. The employer is responsible for the payment of fees due in all circumstances including termination of employment or cancellation of course.
- All course fees remain payable in full unless written cancellation is received at least 14 days prior to course commencement.
- All students must be registered PhoenixFT students. Registration to be completed online at www.phoenixft.com
- Travel discounts offered to students from Emirates other than Dubai or Sharjah attending weekend classes remain solely at PhoenixFT's discretion. Where discounts are applicable, proof of address must first be provided in English before any discount can be offered.
- Courses are not transferable between students.
- Payment of all ACCA fees are the responsibility of the student. This includes but is not limited to membership fees, exemption fees and official exam fees.
- Bookings not paid under the early bird discount for tuition, revision and Gold packages may be cancelled by notice in writing at least 2 weeks prior to course commencement.
Early Bird Discount
- Early bird Discount is only applicable to Gold and Platinum Study Packages.
- Early bird Discount is only available on courses booked and paid for by the designated early bird date found on the course registration section/ timetables.
- Early bird course fees are transferable to other papers dependent upon exam results received and prior to course commencement, provided online access has not yet been granted.
- Fees can be carried forward to subsequent sittings but no refunds will be given under any circumstances.
Silver Packages
BT, MA, FA and LW papers (on-demand computer-based exams)
- Online access will be granted from the date of purchase and will expire after a period of 4 months.
- Once access has been given, courses are not deferrable or transferrable.
Applied Skills exams (excluding LW) and Strategic Professional exams
Students who are taking these exams can enrol within the time frames given below.

- Access will be granted from the date of purchase until the end of the ACCA exam window for the relevant package.
- Once access has been given, courses are not deferrable or transferrable.
- If a student is unsuccessful in the ACCA exam, upon proof of exam result online access will be reactivated for a further period until the end of the subsequent exam window. This extension will only be granted once.
Gold Packages
- Students who wish to defer a PhoenixFT Gold Study Package after they have booked and paid can only do so if this request is emailed to PhoenixFT five working days before the course starts. If PhoenixFT is not notified in time, the full fees will remain allocated to the original booking and full course deferral will no longer be an option. Any requests received after this deadline will be assessed on a case by case basis.
- Students can defer their course booking for a maximum of two consecutive sittings under the same course fees as were originally paid. After this point, the amount paid becomes a credit on the student's account which can be used towards future bookings. The amount, if not used is non-refundable and will expire after 2 years.
- Students who are booked for a full course (tuition/revision/QBE) can defer the revision and QBE elements if this request is emailed to PhoenixFT before the deferral deadline. The deadline for free course deferrals (Revision and QBE) is the ACCA standard exam entry deadline and course bookings will not be deferred after this date.
- Students who wish to maintain their free resit eligibility can only defer the revision/QBE element to the next consecutive sitting. Those students who wish to defer after the first consecutive sitting will lose their eligibility for a free resit on that paper. Standard free resit rules apply when deferring part of your course booking.
Platinum Packages
- Access to online resources will be activated on course commencement.
- Deferral rules will apply as per Gold packages above.
- Should students choose to defer revision and QBE online tuition access will be suspended at the end of the tuition phase and will be reactivated after the exam window to enable students to prepare for the subsequent sitting.
- If students require early access to online tuition prior to face to face course commencement, this is possible from 15th of the month prior to course commencement, however should a student decide to have early access they are then waiving all rights to deferral or transfer.
Lifetime Pass Guarantee - Free Resits (Gold and Platinum Packages Only)
- The Lifetime Pass Guarantee is only applicable to Gold and Platinum Packages.
- Students must maintain 100% face to face attendance of the course to be eligible for the Lifetime Pass Guarantee.
- Students must submit both the Interim and QBE mock assessment and achieve a minimum of 30%.
- Students must have attempted the official ACCA exam and scored less than 50%.
- Free resits must be taken within a 2 sitting window.
- To maintain a free resit going forward, you must attend the full package again and then apply for your free resit within the resit window.
- PhoenixFT management reserves the right to disallow and allocate resits at their discretion. Reasons for this may include but are not limited to punctuality, behaviour, classroom ethics and batch availability.
- For students booking a free resit under our resit guarantee, where the study material has been updated you will be required to purchase new materials.
Technical Requirements for Online Courses
- Download GoToMeeting app for webinars
- Latest version of Web browser with standard settings
- Download scanner app with the ability to scan interim tests and QBE answers as PDF
- Stable internet connectivity with download speeds of 2 Mbps or more is desirable to access the PhoenixFT online learning platform
